2018 HIA-SA Winner Renovation/Addition Project over $500,001
BTF Constructions’ Millswood Project was awarded 2018 HIA-SA Winner Renovation/Addition Project over $500,001. The project entailed substantial restoration and a sizable extension to a 1928 character bungalow to create an expansive family home. The client brief was to create a functional home that cleverly integrated the old part of the home to the new, and allowed for ample storage and connectivity with the inside and the out.
A range of building products including spotted gum timber cladding and steel were used in the exterior. Internally, the house was fitted with large format tiles, custom-joinery and high-end appliances and sanitaryware.
The final home included 5 large bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, formal lounge, study, open plan living, dining and kitchen, and triple garaging.
