Polished Modern Extension
This modern extension to a 1960’s beachside home provided a private, ‘parents retreat’, that was seamlessly integrated to the existing home. The extension included a large master bedroom and ensuite, expansive living area and a self-contained wine room. The feature that sets this extension apart from all others was the use of polished concrete floor that extended to all areas, including the bathroom. The use of bi-fold cedar doors and windows cleverly integrates the inside with the outside; allowing for an abundance of natural light and sea breezes, and easy access to the lush, landscaped alfresco area.
